Turkey Goes Rogue: For All I Am Thankful

Nothing screams Thanksgiving more than a nice piece of salmon, am I right?  Erm…maybe not really…but I mean, who says you have to eat turkey on Thanksgiving?  While my family feasted on golden browned poutlry, I nibbled on a nice piece of wild alaskan salmon, sauteed garlic kale, and broiled Thanksgiving cauliflour.  Washed it down with a couple glasses of gallo family moscato. Perfect.

The day was very relaxing.  Started it out with a nice 3 miler, worked on a bit of homework, helped madge cook dinner, ate, then played apples to apples with my silly family.  Haha sometimes my dad says the darndest things.  Today’s gems were: *puts wine bottles on porch to chill* “Don’t let some beedy-eyed people come steal our wine!” and *scrolling down on demand looking for a movie* “zombie strippers! …just sayin’.”  Haha, oh padge.  Who needs tv when I have you bursting out singing feliz navidad at 11:30 at night a whole month before Christmas?

I am so blessed.  Yes.  Every single person, piece of food, sight, smell, taste, and touch is a gift from God.  I see that gift on the smiling faces of my friends and family, I feel it in every hug, high five, and cuddle from my dog, I smell and taste it in the wonderful food that I have been provided with. And I am so thankful.

Psalm 145:7
They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness
